Biografy
The Deaf Nun, finally a band that tries to bring something else than the average coverband.
No songs of The Stones, Earring, Cocker and others, but fresh and contemporary music like Kaiser Chiefs, No Doubt, Bloodhound Gang, Radiohead, The Peppers and others. You're not familiar with this music? Then it's definitely time to come and see us performing, unless you've been stuck in time.
The songs are mostly chosen by two young, upcoming talents, Kristof (Prins Fokker & Whateverfriend, Chocolate Inc.) and Jasper Van Proeyen (TomCat, Chocolate Inc.), completed with three experienced musicians, namely Luc Canters (Strange Fruit, ex-Rick Tubbax), Geerd Van Proeyen (TomCat, Guy & The Stella's, Chocolate Inc., ex-Rick Tubbax) and Jan Smet (TomCat, Guy & The Stella's, Chocolate Inc.).

- Sometimes I'm dating Britney. She adores me for the elektro-music I make. Then she undresses herself, then me, we drink a lot of liquor and we make one-day-children. Britney also likes to see me perform on stage, especially when e.g. I have to kiss other girls. Later on she spanks me. Sometimes I hit her back. Once in a while I amuse her dressing up myself.

- I like to keep myself busy with anything. Next to playing badminton I've somehow learned to play the piano and the drums. My other hobby has "something" to do with computers: design, web design and programming. Whenever I'm tired of all this I like to go to the cinema and catch the latest movie, together with my babe. In the bar I drink whiskey coke. When I'm running out of money, I only drink the latter.

- Concerning my hobbies, that's self-explanatory I think, but if you're interested: I like to keep myself busy knitting on cold winter nights; socks, scarf, yes even other things. With the right partner I like to play "boomke wies". My doctor advised me not to play darts, because it involves too much movement, pity.

- After I fecked up my last snooker sheet, I've decided to start playing the guitar. I chose the bass guitar, because it's got only 4 strings. These days there are bass guitars with more strings (yeah right, not for me). I prefer to play solid music, just to not fall asleep. I also like to play football - I have to admit: more and more in the bar than on the land. Then one last touching saying: "When the hell is breaking loss on stage, it's my job to keep a firm bass line going."

- As you can see, I'm the youngest of the band. That's also why I have only 70 hobbies: 69 and playing the drums. Especially the last one made my life rumble: imagine yourself I have to keep up with those other old guys (and that's not as easy as it sounds)! Finally: Britney can't have me (Kristof), Tessa is taken (Jasper), he didn't play with my dart yet (Luc) and I do have 20 strings on my "snare drum" (that's 5 times as much as there are on Jan's bass guitar). And I do have a beautiful and fine woman - final stop.
